Pool Sessions

  • Two kayak skills sessions will be held at the Brooklyn Center Community Center.  Tentative dates are January 28 and February 11.  (Chad will confirm these dates.)  More information will be posted on rapidsriders.com.  Cost is $10 per person.
  • Two canoe skills sessions will be held at the same location.  Tentative dates are February 4 and February 18.  One quarter of the pool will be available as an “open pool”.  Cost is $10 per person.
  • Two or three rolling clinics will be offered.  Dates TBD.  The deep end of the pool will be available as an “open pool” during these clinics.  Cost is $10 per person.
  • A safety rodeo will be held during the demo night on March 25.  Chad and Art will organize the rodeo.  Midwest Mountaineering will provide demo boats.  Jim Bonesho will be asked to bring Blisstick kayaks.  There will be other potential sponsors.  This will be a free pool session.
  • Chad is reserving this pool for a pool night (part of Canoe U) two weeks before Canoe U.  More information to come.
